Great Expectations is conveniently located 5 minutes out of Cruz Bay

Our little island of St John is < than 20 square miles but at every turn (and there are lots of them) you will be treated to spectacular views! Great Expectations is conveniently located on the southwestern corner of St John. The Villa is just a 5 minute drive to Cruz Bay where the ferry arrives and you will find lots of interesting restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.  The National Park beaches are a 15 minute drive (5 minutes north of Cruz Bay) from Great Expectations and line the entire northern spine of the island.

Because two-thirds of St John is part of the US National Park system it will be forever green. The view to the east from Great Expectations is of beautiful Rendezvous Bay, Ditleff Point, and the green of the National Park and Reef Bay. There are wonderfully challenging or flat trails many of which end at the water's edge.
