"Beau Geste"

Located just next door to the main St John Villa of Great Expectations, the Guest House ("Beau Geste") offers an additional 2 bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms in the Beau Geste Guest House may be rented along with the 5 bedrooms in the Villa or if the Villa guests do not need to use the Guest House, it may be available to rent by itself. The Guest House ("Beau Geste") is just a short walk (25 yards) along a lighted path from the Villa; however, Beau Geste has its own separate parking area, entrance, and lots of beautiful landscaping so your privacy is assured. Beau Geste also has its own swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ grill, and, of course, outdoor furniture, hammocks, and the same great sunrise and sunset views as the Villa! The sleeping configurations in Beau Geste consist of: -the top floor Studio Apartment (2+ people) -the Guest Bedroom (up to 5 persons)

The Owner's Studio Apartment (accommodates 2+ persons) The top floor of the Guest House consists of the 'Owner's Studio Apartment'. This is a very large (20' by 24'), air-conditioned efficiency studio the size of the Great Room in the Villa. It has a Queen-size four poster bed with a spectacular Caribbean view. The living area has a futon which opens into a full size bed. The Owner's Studio Apartment is equipped with cable TV and DVD player, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, IPod cable, and built-in wall speakers, and telephone with answering machine. It has its own bathroom (with bidet), double sink vanity and indoor/outdoor shower. It has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ceiling fan, cathedral ceiling with skylights and sofit lighting, as well as outdoor decks on both the east and west sides

Beau Geste amenities include all that you would want at your St John villa including: Jacuzzi swimming pool & Redwood Hot Tub with 30 Hydrotherapy Jets beach chairs and coolers High speed WIFI internet access .... so if you want to bring your laptop you can surf the web, check your e-mail and get back to the beach faster than ever! stainless steel BBQ grill hammocks and, of course, great Caribbean views including wonderful sunrises

THE GUEST BEDROOM  (accommodates 2+ persons) The first floor bedroom in the Guest House  is the same size (20' by 12') as the 4 bedrooms in the Villa. Like the other Villa bedrooms, this bedroom has a ceiling fan and is air-conditioned and has a private bathroom with a double sink vanity and an indoor/outdoor shower (it also has a small Caribbean stone bath tub). The Guest Bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and two futons (one futon opens into a full size bed and the other into a twin size bed). This room has a flat screen television with DVD player, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. Please note that the 2 floors in the Guest House are on separate floors and accessed by an outside staircase so that we do not recommend children 12 or younger sleep in the downstairs bedroom by themselves. "...Travis and I stayed in your apartment, and now I yearn to be woken up at 5am by tropical showers, leaping out of bed to slam the doors against the warm, driving rain. I have to say my favorite spot in the whole villa is the porch off your apartment facing Rendezvous Bay . Always a stiff breeze and a guaranteed moment of peace...Thanks for an amazing experience. We had an absolutely perfect honeymoon. We arrived on a warm Saturday evening. After a quick stop for groceries, we made our way to the apartment and all we can say is WOW! There are not enough adjectives to express our DELIGHT with Beau Geste. It is a spectacular set-up with gorgeous views. We felt at-home instantly (and fell asleep instantly!)...We grilled almost every night except when we were enjoying Candie's BBQ chicken and ribs! We made it into Cruz Bay one night to eat paella at La Tapa.

We even saw the lunar eclipse on a clear, skyscraper-free evening. Absolutely though, our favorite thing to do was spending quiet time together on the beach and relaxing on the decks of Beau Geste. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us! We had a very special time and we will never forget our honeymoon. Thank you for a wonderful experience in St John!"
