There are lots of different island creatures
roaming our grounds (all of them are harmless and interesting; the 2-legged one here is Chuck, owner of St John villa Great Expectations. He is saying 'good day' to our friendly iguana).

Beaches
There are two beaches within a five minute walk
from our St John villa Great Expectations. Hart Bay beach is a source of terrific
sea 'treasures' while Chocolate Hole Harbor offers some of the
best snorkeling around St John. |

Bedrooms
The bedrooms are configured for maximum privacy
and comfort; each with its own patio, private bathroom, great
views, and fully air conditioned. |

Garden
We take great pride in our 'garden' which overflows
with the wonderful colors of the caribbean with lots of yellows,
reds, blues, purples, pinks of our plantings...many of which are
edible including your own papayas, key limes, or bananas depending
on the season. |

Great
Room / Interior
The Great Room is furnished with all of the
amenities needed for relaxed living including a kitchen which
lacks for nothing! We have for your enjoyment books, tv's and dvd
players (and tons of dvd's as well to watch),
games, an indoor and outdoor speaker system. Enjoy cooking in
our fully furnished kitchen (we have been told it lacks for nothing!). |

Holidays
Great
Expectations has been the host of some great holiday celebrations
from 1st, to 90th birthdays, anniversaries, and Santa has even
found young and old at Great Expectations! |

The moon rises out of the Caribbean or right
behind Bordeaux Mountain to light up the evening's festivities. |

Passing
Boats
You never have to leave the property to see
boats of all sizes and types pass by Great Expectations. You will
have fun imagining where they are going as you lounge by the
